The rule of thumb when feeding bone is that the bone should be larger than the length of the muzzle of the dog. Whole bones that have been swallowed can lead to blockages, perforation of the stomach or colon and ultimately death, so choosing an appropriate size bone is important. You should monitor your dog while they eat bones and when they are small enough to potentially be swallowed, they should be taken away and discarded.

Always feed bones raw and never cook them. Avoid feeding to dogs sensitive to fat.

This is a 1 Kg pack of Medium Sized Bones recommended for medium and smaller breeds.

Feeding Guidelines

PUPPIES
Should consume 6 to 8% of their BODY weight in food per day divided into three meals until six months of age. Not suitable for puppies under 500g in weight, small pieces may present a choking hazard.
ADULT DOGS
Should consume 2 to 3% of their IDEAL body weight in food per day divided into two meals. Some small breeds may require 3 to 4%.
PREGNANT AND LACTATING BITCHES
Should consume 6 to 8% of their BODY weight in food per day during the last two weeks of pregnancy and while whelping.

Feed according to the individual needs of your dog. Every dog is a little different.
